ROLE IN ANTI-AGING:

Chloride stimulates production of hydrochloric acid for digestion and maintains fluid and electrolyte balance. Chloride has also been shown to assist liver function.

DEFICIENCY SYMPTOMS:

Impaired digestion, loss of hair and teeth, however chloride deficiencies are rare as the body usually produces enough.
